Table of Contents

Gwangalli Beach is one of those places in Busan that I always find myself coming back to.

ย

One of my favorite things to do in Gwangalli is arrive in the late afternoon, walk along the beach, and choose a restaurant before the bridge lights come on. During my visits, Iโ€™ve discovered that some of the best meals are not always found directly on the beachfront but hidden on the streets just behind it.

ย

There is something special about sitting by the ocean, watching the waves, and seeing Gwangan Bridge slowly light up as the sun goes down. Many visitors come here for the beautiful night view, but for me, a visit to Gwangalli is never complete without enjoying good Korean food nearby.

ย

After exploring Busan several times, Iโ€™ve noticed that many first-time visitors stay around the main beach area, enjoying the cafรฉs and ocean views, but they often miss the local restaurants nearby. Some of my favorite meals in Busan have come from these hidden spots where you can experience authentic Korean dishes in a more local atmosphere.

ย

From warm bowls of pork soup and fresh seafood to Korean barbecue and traditional dishes, Gwangalli has plenty of restaurants worth discovering beyond the usual tourist spots.

ย

In this guide, Iโ€™ll share my recommended restaurants near Gwangalli Beach, including what to order, estimated prices, location tips, and helpful information to make your first Busan food adventure easier.

ย
